ADMINISTRATION WITHIN A COMPANY

ADMINISTRATION WITHIN A COMPANY

The management of a company or organization is extremely relevant when it comes to verifying whether it is succeeding or failing. To talk about management we must first understand some previous concepts, which are more basic but nonetheless important, such as the definition of organization. It is simply defined as a group of individuals who seek to fulfill a common goal. Organizations work because they have a structure, that is, each individual involved has a role and status to fulfill, generating rights and obligations.

But, what is the role that organizations play? Throughout history, the human being has tried to survive satisfying their needs. From the beginning, when indigenous tribes needed to get food for their people, they were also part of an organization, because they were prepared in such a way that they tried to be the most efficient in order to get the most food wherever a decision-making leader existed, Aiming to satisfy the need of the people. That is the role of organizations, meeting a need required to improve the quality of life (health, food, shelter, fashion, etc.).

Today, organizations are much more complex and good management is needed to make it work. For example, a food company has many sectors of work, in which has to be in perfect harmony, so that the business can be carried out. When a product is put up for sale, it is indispensable that there is enough merchandise to supply the plaintiffs. In turn, there is a sector that must buy the inputs to generate the necessary quantities of product and there must be another management (Finance) that is responsible for solving the accounts.

We can relate the above with an important sentence: "It's not just about doing things right, it's about finding the things that should be done and concentrating resources and efforts on it" (Peter Drucker, (he was an Austrian lawyer and tratadista, considered the greatest philosopher of the administration of the twentieth century )).
